In Sweden, the numbers of cases are moderate at present (130 new infections/100 000 inhabitants over the last 14 days), but somewhat increasing, mainly among young people. Of the adult population, 82% have received at least one vaccine shot and 70% are fully vaccinated, and vaccinations for 16- and 17-year-olds are under way.

Current restrictions limit the number participants to 300 persons if seated and 50 if non-seated. Our conference venue, the Aula Magna, has 1194 seats, which will enable social distancing for those participants who so choose, and it can take 300 participants. The organising committee and the SU conference service have made plans to accommodate these restrictions. Facemasks will be available at the venue, and all participants will be reminded of the need for social distancing.

We are aware that various travel restrictions will make it difficult for some colleagues to participate onsite regardless of the conditions in Stockholm.
